Nature’s Posy

Nature’s Posy is owned by Debbie Richards who started her flower farming journey in 2019 after leaving behind a corporate career in HR. She set up her first flower field the following year; growing there for 5 years before relocating to Frank’s Farm for her 6th season in 2025. 

Debbie is passionate about bringing sustainably grown, seasonal British cut flowers to the local market. She grows a wide variety of flowers with the main season running from March to November. The flower field contains over 1,000 perennial cut flower plants to which thousands of annuals are added each year. In the peak of the season, between 1,000 and 1,500 flower stems are available to cut every week. 

During the year, Debbie supplies flowers through Pick You Own, gift bouquets and flower bunches, buckets of flowers to arrange at home and wedding flowers. She regularly runs floristry and growing workshops in small groups or 1 to 1 support. 

All flowers are grown without the use of pesticides or herbicides, working in harmony with nature. 

A dedicated area of the flower field, B’s Garden, is set up to inspire growing cut flowers at home. B’s Garden is supported by volunteers who help to keep the numerous small flower beds looking at their best. Visitors to B’s Garden are encouraged; there are plenty of ideas to take away!
