Danielle’s award-winning artisan ice cream and sundaes are made by hand in small batches to bring you the most delightful flavours. She uses top ingredients, including fresh mint and ethically sourced chocolate, to bring you ice creams that taste amazing and don’t cost the Earth.



The service and food at this cafe is first class. I visited on a Friday and asked to book a table the following day for myself, my daughter and her husband. I arrived the next day having travelled from Suffolk and my daughter had cycled to the venue only to find a board outside stating that hot food could not be served due to “unforeseen circumstances “. We were very disappointed but we went into the cafe with the intention of just having a coffee. On arrival I was greeted by Sophie ( the duty manager) who stated that, because I had booked the previous day,she did not want to let us down so she had persuaded one of the on site butchers to cook our breakfast specially for us. This was exceptional customer service and something you don’t come across nowadays. I must commend Sophie on her latte art skills ( see pic) which demonstrate pride in her presentation. While we waited we were provided with some amazing pastries to go with our coffee as an apology for the disruption. We were then presented with an amazing breakfast prepared by the on site butcher. As we ate our food I could hear Sophie making the most of the “down time” by providing her staff with training. This was honestly my first visit to this restaurant/cafe and first contact with Sophie. She has exceptional management skills that deserve a mention and we will be returning.
